DINER GIRL | home finally… my old hometown… Nashville…

June 3, 2014

Getting around the shuttle, looking around, to see if anything I left behind. Looking out the window it’s night. Looking at my seat, Nup.  Except those golden gum drops wrappers, that I left on the adjacent seat.. Thinking that I should collect them, instead of littering… I did that… Grabbing them, and then putting remaining wrappers in the pockets of my Jacket…

Then went to the overhanging lockers that reside above my chair, opening it, as it lit my red satchel, and my grey matt Starfleet issue carryon luggage,  which is moderately scratched after it had a few  tour of duties roaming around from Starship to Starship in my younger days..

After finding a small bin in the galley, then trashing the wrappers in the found bin. Finding myself hearing no one from the passenger section, only the crew and that late pilot guy looking back with the look, that looks the last one..!  Replying back with that look… Looks like it…  Noticing that too, I was the only one left after the several round feels like a dozen or so stop overs, thinking each stopover had some amazing landscape to cover.  Looking around the centre passenger alley, where the comfortable cubic cabins, centred aside of the shuttle. Then I started to walk to the exit of the shuttle hatch doors. Then that view of my home town started to appear beyond the spaceport. Then it hit me, I’m home… my sigh of breath saying that shore leave as started long time ago after leaving that view of the Eiffel tower in Paris. Walking out from the shuttle hatch doors onto open catwalk,  into the fresh clear night sky that over hangs as I looking at the slight dark distance as Nashville towering city lights lit up in the distance in which seeing a few stars… Home…
